Hello, I have been doing some digging around and want to purchase my first pachinko machine. That being said I really wanted a Cyborg 009 but am not lucky enough to find one. So I was wondering what the community thought of the Galaxy Railway that I found on S-P, trying to get the best bang for my buck. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated since I am not quite sure what to look for in terms of play value.

Welcome to the addiction of Pachinko. I have a Cyborg 009 and it is a Great Machine!!! If you want to get one, check with Blue Hotaru or Custom Pachinko. They are getting ready to import machines and they could get you one fresh from Japan. It is worth the wait and money, Trust me!!

I have both and i enjoy both! As much as I love me Galaxy Railways the Cyborg 009 is a bit newer and a bit fancier

Cool. I didn't know you can now buy direct from Rakuten. No longer a need for a third party to get involved. The look to only ship EMS so you're looking at around $450 for a full pachinko machine.

I remember one member on here getting one (I think he is in Germany). These seem very popular in Japan, I don't really see the big attraction myself, I much prefer the sound and sight of the balls falling than just pressing a button.
