    Question Western Hero Questions

My new western hero has a lot of buttons that give rise to questions. I just got this one today as I wrote in my other post. There seem to be controls but I am not sure what they should 'do.'
1011012151.jpg First has to be what these two buttons on the front are for. We thought they would stop the numbers while they were whirling but that does/t seem to be the case.

1011012150.jpgSecond question: What are the two teeny knobs for? Volume Control? Shooter control?

1011012150a.jpgThird question. The red button and the number display?

Welcome to pachitalk. The first question ,the buttons on the front don't do anything. They are used in the parlors for dispensing balls. #2 the teeny knobs look like sensitivity knobs and speed knob for the shooter knob.#3 is a reset button to clear ball jams and reset the game ,the led readout is to show error codes like ball jams or empty ball hopper etc. Each error has a readout code #. I hope this helps

The two buttons on the front are used in parlors for a ball loan system that allows players to use pre paid cards to buy balls from the machine. This keeps player from having to go to a counter to buy balls and carry them back to the machine. You can buy a " card reader emulator dongle" from Daverob or authorized distributors to make those buttons come alive! I highly recomend doing so! Once installed, when the front tray is empty, instead of grabbing balls from behind the machine to refill the tray, you simply push a button and 50 balls pour into the front tray! This number is also adjustable, along with so many options that you will probably never use. Any card reader machine I ever but, I will buy this dongle for! Thanks Daverob, excellent product!!! Search it here on Pachitalk and you will find much more info. Buy one, you won't be sorry!
