I found this guy and just had to pick him up with all the wonderful sounds and lights, but it turns out I have no room for it! I'm really a video game collector and I don't know much about these things other than it seems to play fine and function as it should. I'm in the Dallas area, but will ship for $80 via FEDEX within the states. As I have no clue about the prices I'm open to offers, or if somebody could tell me the proper price that would be great.

That's a favorite around here... pricing on these machines is all over the place so it is hard to pinpoint an exact price, but I am sure you will get some reasonable offers. Good luck.

It is not broken, those are raised lines in the plastic...like segmented sections.
That is the way it is supposed to be.

I have owned 3 Spin Luck machines over the years and have sold them all. I enjoy Monkey King and BeastSapp and Sinbad Adventure with the LCD screens more than Spin Luck. Gamera is also a nice game. I guess that I never could see what is so special about Spin Luck. My opinion only.

It's probably because it's hard to come by that makes it wanted so much.I would like one because it has a traditional look and actions,resembleing a vegas look.It's to bad the cost is so high on them for such an old machine.I agree that other pachislo machines are just as fun if not better and far less expensive.

You can buy a real quarter Vegas style slot now for under $ 300.00. Try Grandview products in Poughkeepsie area in NY State.

You can buy a real nice about five year old vegas slot in Arizona for around four hundred cash you haul. Most of them have bill changers or you can get them that pay with tickets. Always liked the ones with the drum and hearing the money hit the pan. The only problem is it takes a fortune to fill the drum. Another thing about a home vegas machine is that they get old in a hurry when the money is always yours.

It's sad how so many "sellers" have an inflated sense of worth on pachislo.
No-one seems to realize how things depreciate.
Too many CL ads read something along the lines of: "Paid $600 for this from Lighthouse Pools & Spas, asking $300".
Just because some-one allowed themselves to get raked out of $600 for a 2001 New Pulsar, doesn't make it worth more than $100-$150 to a "smart" shopper.

There's been a few SL's listed on ebay for this price for well over a year.
They haven't sold & they're not that hard to come by.

I'd have expected a groan from you for two reasons:
1. The title of this thread "IGT Spin Luck 2001 for sale, don't know much about these things..."
2. The fact that it appears you have a buyer but as the above quote indicates "obviously money talks. So $600 is the price now"

This is an online "community" of pachislo "enthusiasts".
I've purchased machines from members here in the past. Not once did anyone hold-out for a more lucrative offer.
Hell, I've listed machines here for far less than what I was asking on CL.
What's fair is fair. Frankly you don't seem to be the type of person that I'd wish to, or advise anyone else to deal with.

Perhaps you should list your shady dealings elsewhere. (ie: Pound salt scheister)

When I first replied to the original post, I didn't mention any price for a reason as the price on this particular machine does vary greatly. It's popularity is what it is most probably because of this community; whether it is warranted or over-hyped, it a matter of opinion.

While there may be someone out there willing to pay $600 for it, I do agree that PachiTalk is not the place to play hardball.

Somebody here suggested I put that as the price. Anyhow I'm not sure why you'd (Tikijim) click on a for sale thread for a machine you obviously have no interest in. Doesn't really make sense, unless your only objective is trolling. I hope you try to sell your car one day, only to have somebody stand in your front yard and tell potential buyers what a crummy piece of rust it is (just kidding, I wouldn't wish that on anybody). You must be a terribly bitter person. Though I understand life is tough, so I forgive you. Anyway the machine has been sold to a nice, respectful member of this community. I went here because I thought a collector would appreciate a rare machine like this, rather than a reseller. I indeed did find the right person, so all is well.
