Default First Pachinko Machine - Sanyo Comet II

I bought this about two weeks ago. All fixed up and being used by the entire family. My uncle had one when I was a kid and always wanted one for myself. The hard part now is not buying another one.

Nice of you to find us here. That is a nice looking sanyo. I'm sure you will have a ton of fun out of it.

(By the way good luck to ya on stopping yourself from buying another. It is rather hard to do. Just look at my signature it is 100% true.)

Welcome to PachiTalk and to the Pachinko hobby! We are thrilled that you took the time to join our forum and post your pictures!

There is an unspoken addiction that comes with these machines and there really isn't anything you can do about it (many of us have tried in vain). So go ahead and give in to the temptation to find more. They are all different in many ways and are really fun to collect, compare and discover.

It is a hobby that can't be stopped once you have one many people most likely end up with more. (I'm one of them, but I'm happy to be one )

I made this video after I did some work on my machine. The first part just shows if you take the time to clean the brass post for the jackpot arm instead of using weights it works really well. The second part just shows how I rigged up my lights without soldering.

The crimp connectors are a good stand in but they aren't the greatest long term. But it is what ever works. I have a soldering pencil and it works great for me. But everyone has their own ways of getting around things. A+ for being resourceful.

At some point if I have to solder then so be it. I do not mind learning something new.

I bought a new track cover from http://www.pachinkorestorations.com. My homemade cover worked fine, it is just nice to have the original part.

Glad to see you found member Cardwwi's site and that he was able to help you out. (Also that part is brand new he makes them himself.)

I have been trying for a month and a half to open every tulip but every time I get close I mess it up. My 9 year old who hardly plays was playing for about two minutes and does it. Beginners luck!!
