80's machine

Im trying to find a pachinko machine from the 1980's any one have a list or pics of ones from then?

I'd like to see one too. You see plenty of 1970's machines and 1990's but I don't think I've seen any pictures of 1980's machines. Even the Japanese sites I've seen only list machines from the 90's on.

A lot of 80's machines can just look like 90's machines so you may just not notice them when you see them..

I know I've seen pics of some around here just this week, but sometimes they don't look to different to ones that were made in the 90's..I have some late 90's pachis that look similar to some late 80s pachis I've seen..

The ones from the first half of the 80s do look more basic like the Kyoraku ones that seem to turn up on here or ebay every month..

I have an 80's pachinko, I call it my missing link, it's a nice machine that, to me, bridges the gap between my Vintage and Modern collections

Mine doesn't have any animatronics, but it does have bright colours

Wonder if animatronics started in the later 80's??

It would make sense as a sort of evolution towards the moderns we see today, or maybe there was no rhyme or reason to it

I just found this page I've been looking for for 5 years!! Sadly it looks like it went away late last year, but thanks to the magic of the Wayback Machine here is most of it!! This page has lots of '80's machines with dates!! Sadly the pic I used to like of the '73 vintage with the knob is gone..

The ones mopar posted are..in the link I posted there are a few different kinds including Dejipachis it looks like!!
