Default Bought my first pachinko for $1

Last night I bought my first pachinko for only $1, it's a Fever Viking model. This model is sold on some vendors site for 299.99 plus shipping. I purchased it thru yahoo Japan and with 120 shipping by sea and the sellers fee for 150 this machine will be delivered to my house. This tells me that when i can order a machine from the other side of the world and have it shipped here to the US and pay 1/2 of the price vendors are asking for this model that were being over charged for machines.

You will certainly have to keep us abreast of this this turns out. Hope it has the front glass in it!

It has the front glass, only thing i do not like is that its cyclic, is it possible to reverse this?? I basically purchased this just to see how and if it will get to me across the ocean being shipped by sea and what condition in get here in. worst happens is i lose 150 or the machine arrives in bad shape, but hopefully it will arrive here without being smashed .

If my math serves me right, then total delivered to door price is $271?

Does it include balls and 110v transformer for US use, trays or any other goodies?

Not a big deal, but now I read this as $141.00?

    Hey folks,

Can you all explain to me what the term "cyclic" means?

It does sound like a good deal . Don't forget though: 1. That the sellers here change the glass. 2. Put a transformer in. 3. Give you balls. 4. Most of them stand behind what they sell. 5. Most of the sellers here are easily contacted.

PS. Give the cyclic a chance, you will like it.

They're referring to recycling the balls within the machine and not letting them dump out the back into a container. Eliminating the need to reach around the back and retrieve the balls manually.

    Hey Tulsa,

Thanks for the information. May I assume the balls are being transferred to the lower ball resevoir in the front of the machine and not up to the reward tray?

    Rknarr...
Do you have an estimate on shipping time?
And is there any way of tracking it?

One other question... what buying company did you use?

Also, how will it be delivered from the port to your home? Do you have to do anything special (e.g. make any calls to domestic delivery companies, fill out customs forms)?

What is the webb address of Yahoo Japan? Is it translated or do you have to translate the pages?

Well will be very interesting to follow to see how it turns out. It may actually open up things a bit and help shake up the prices here as they certainly seem to be going higher here since there really isn't much competition.
Glad to see you stepping up to the plate and doing this RKnarr01

i had some authentic signage sent by this guy last night and he provided me with a tracking number but this was sent by air, as far as sea he says 1-2 months, the way i look at it is i lose 150 or i get a great deal on a machine and in the future i order my machines from japan instead of paying the inflated prices that the US dealers are getting.

If this works it might force US venders to lower prices.

Here's the first update on this: machines CANNOT be sent by sea due to the weight they must either be sent by SAL or EMS.

The Girls' are comming EMS. I think the quicker, less chance of breakage, I hope.
