Default Mystery Sammy Aladdin Ace - Garage sale find.

Per my intro, my folks found this at a garage sale and thought it would be fun.

Turned it on and the lights came on, but the speakers were disconnected. No big deal, they just plug in.
None of the buttons work on the front, but might be due to no tokens.
When you put a token in it just falls through to the dish.

After reading this site, I tried turning the key to the left.

This is my first electronic slot. I am completely clueless at this point. All help appreciated.
I am searching on just "Aladdin" at this point. Are other machines set up the same way?

    Hello,

Sorry this isn't one that I have owned or played before, but I can give you a couple of links to get you started.

Firstly, if you are new to Pachislos in general, you may find this guide useful to refer to, also page 11 has some machine specific info regarding location of reset switches, volume controls on Sammy models

    pachitalk/Manuals/Pachislots_Operation_Manual.pdf

The second link takes you to the machine info in our research centre, this shows the reels and gives the statistics for payouts / probability stuff

PachiTalk Research Center - Sammy - Aladdin A - PachiTalk

Not sure how many tokens you have, but you really need about 400/500 to start with

    and Welcome again to PachiTalk!!

hear is a nice set of "how to reset your machine" instructions

just a guess... (im more of a Pachinko kinda guy) but your machine might be stuck in odd set mode..

try running threw these instructions a few times and see if ya can git it working again...

if the instructions are not done right it will stay stuck... but starting over from the start will sometimes get ya going again

In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens or credits
being played. Locate internal toggle switch (red tipped or silver with on/off tabs)
or insert key into internal key switch (if your machine came with 2 keys).
Machine must be turned OFF. Turn key clockwise or flip reset toggle switch to
the "ON" or "ODDS" position. Turn main power switch ON to access
    programming mode.
A number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on the CREDIT meter on the front door or
on a display inside the door. Locate the reset button. This will be located on
your power supply. On SAMMY brand models, the button is on the inside of the
    door only.
Depress the button and notice movement of number being displayed on the
credit meter. Once the desired level is displayed (1 to 6) pull "spin reels" handle
(black or red knob on front door) down, like you are going to spin the reels, to
lock odds level into machine memory. Turn key switch back or flip toggle to
"OFF" or "PLAY" position. Machine should immediately initialize. You will know
the machine initialized if the "Insert Medal" light starts flashing. If not, make sure
you remembered to press down the "SPIN REELS" lever.
If it still doesn't initialize, turn power to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and
turn power switch back to ON position.

Oh Money! I think it worked. Not sure what I did, but the machine accepts coins, makes noise and reels spin

Thanks for all the help. Is there any "value" to this machine? Not to sell, but I was planning on letting the kids just have fun with it.

    Do they break easily?
    Can you get replacement parts?
    Is the value about $150-300?
It has a bunch of official stickers/seals. Do they mean anything? It is token based.

Wow. Loud! Now I know why the speakers were disconnected

Not sure if I should start a new thread documenting what I have learned from this machine. I assume if someone else buys a Sammy Aladdin Ace 2002 they will read this.

This is the translation I got from a friend.
