    Default A list

    Good Evening Forum Gurus,

I have an idea, since there are many members on here that eat, breathe and sleep Pachislo and Pachinko, how about putting together a list intended for sticky status of current dealers? There seem to be fragments of dealers listed in the forums but since the posts are older quite a few are out of business. With a sticky, the dealers could be updated or deleted as time goes on. I think this would eliminate alot of questions from new members and increase hits once Google caches the page. What does everybody think?

    Smile Re: A list

    Hello

I think the problem we would have with a list is that there are probably only a handful of regular vendors of pachi products, and the tried, tested and recommended ones (by our members) are usually also members of PachiTalk

We do have a section of the Forums where these Vendors can and do post about new stock coming in, and gauge interest for future shipments, etc

    Vendors New Announcements

Many members also source pachinkos and pachislos using eBay, Yahoo Japan and Craig's list, and even from other members. We also have a trading post forum for those, and members regularly post links to items they feel will be of interest to other members

    Trading Post

Obviously this is just my personal opinion, but I'm not sure if a list is going to be of much assistance, bearing in mind that any new members need only post a question and the members here are always happy to offer advice and the most up to date opinions and information in reply

To be honest this is an idea I think is good. I looked for vendors through hundreds of posts on many sites just to see what all was really out there in the marketplace. I noticed a good 80%+ of them were not in business anymore. If someone did create a list and update it monthly or even every 3 months of current vendors I would bookmark it and help contribute to it.

I have spent countless hours which would have been saved had their been a current list.

I know of a dozen sites and around the same amount when it comes to ebay vendors. It also depends on where in the world you live... A list may not be of any use to someone in the UK vs someone in the US.

I'm still trying to learn abou the vendors. I'm not naming any names, but I am trying to learn about a few things.
One vendor told me that he is the main distributor for most if not all the other vendors, and that they all buy from him.
    Is this true?
I'm not trying to stir up a hornets nest. But is it really mainly one company providing machines to everyone?
I thought some of these companies actually bought in Japan and brought them here.
Does anyone here actually know the scoop?
    Thanks

sounds like you talked to Slot-pachinko. I have never had a bad machine from them, dirty yes but always worked. Also totally full of bull from the ads to telling you lies about everything from how many of something they have "I ordered 20 and all but one have been paid for already" "only 12 of this machine were ever made and I have them all" "biggest dealer in the world"... on and on and on.

So are they the main distributor to places like Custom Pachinko and Blue Hatori?
To be honest I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at this point.
I've spoken with Frank at Custom Pachinko and he was very patient with me, what with me being a novice and all.
I'm sure I'll eventually end up buying from more than one place and I've already ordered from Frank.
PM me if you want to clue me in privately.
I could really use the help.
    Thanks Big Time!

I would let the vendors speak for themselves but I know for a fact you are being told a lie when they claim everyone gets their machines from them.

I can tell you that is a straight up lie. I bring all my machines over directly from Japan and although all vendors have different means to acquire their products nobody is the sole provider in the US. I know there is a trading company in Texas that brings over a lot of generic machines very cheap and that they most likely supply some machines to other vendors, but not everyone buys from them. If it was from Kurt at slot-pachinko then it looks like his whoppers are getting him in trouble again. I don't want to be mean to other vendors, but I can't stand it if someone puts out false rumors about us or anyone else trying to make an honest living.

Yeah it seemed very strange that the guy would claim he supplied everyone. You work with Frank, right?
I've spoken with Frank directly and placed an order with him and he told me he ggets the machines from Japan.

I guess some people are so well known that mentioning names isn't required.

I just hope Frank can get me that Urusei Yatsura Forever Love pachinko game I want.

Thanks for clearing up the situation with this guy not being the primary vendor.
