e4 error

ok have not had my neo planett or neo magic on in over 2 weeks (i know shame on me). when i turned them on both machines had a e4 error is this because they have not been on. i did a major reset and everything is fine now i also noticed that when i reset them the payout showed 1 and i had them set at 6. do they need to be on every so often to hold the memory?

I've had it happen to me as well, but it seems to be limited to the Yamasa machines for some reason. I can't say why though.
