its common for pachinkos not to come with keys so you have to open them from behind.

Shoots one ball at a time?

    Cool

I can't even get it to do that unless i open front glass and put ball in,proper spot too lead too shooter, top feed tray(where it seem likly spot too hold balls) sends ball through a couple channels then down too bottom where small catch can is, not to shooter
it does shoot 1 ball at a time I guess, when feed to shooter, from inside front door.

The only English on the game are the words HI DELUXE.
It is cream color body, orange area on center, blue tray, ash tray, but how is power applied?
    thanks Tim

If it looks like that, then it doesn't really need power. All the mechanical parts are just powered by gravity and the weight of the ball moving through the system. The only thing you need power for is to light the lights. You can power the lights with a small wall-wart power supply. But, since the current draw is so low (you're only lighting a couple of small bulbs - and even then only occasionally) you can simply use a 9 volt battery. It will last almost the shelf life of the battery.

So your first step is to just forget about the power - you can add that later. For now you have to figure out what's stopping the mechanical parts from working.

    Tim,

Please take the time to research the vintage pachinko forum. It has a ton of great tips, links to sites that specialize in vintage games, operating manuals, etc.

After visiting there, you will probably find a photo very close to the one you have. The older ones had the same nail patterns on play field and only the few pieces of trim differed.

Once you find your manual over there, read it carefully to make sure you are setting up the game properly for play. You will need several hundred balls for proper play.

    Keep us informed.

    Welcome to pachitalk!

Tim, often you can find your machine or one very similar on eBay. If you haven't already done so, load this url in and scroll through it and see if any of the vintage machines look like the one you have: http://search-desc.ebay.com/pachinko...trypageZsearch
