is there a way to adjust the slots on it it has a bunch of plugs in back but i dont know which is the one id need.

if your talking about changing the odds you can't

djust the nails near the center pocket to make the play looser

I had a Super Sea Story for a while and had fun playing it, however I couldn't get it to fever. So I reset the odds on the machine and it started to hit fevers a lot!!

I think there was a red button on the back that you press and hold while the machine powers on. That is the only way to adjust the odds that I know of. Other than that, you are at the mercy of the computer.

And now I have Jeff's machine. It gets a fever once in awhile, but I have not reset it yet. Have fun trying!

Even resetting the machine is not going to change anything having to do with if you are going to win or not, all it will do is set the gameplay back to the standard mode if you are in a high odds mode or are fevering at the moment and clear any stored payouts that it still owes.
