    Question Daiichi Lighting

I just picked up this Daiichi. I see there is a place for lighting for when the ball tray is empty. Does another bulb go where the jackpot is? The old wiring was basically gone so I am not able to tell. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks. I have wired machines before but I was curious on this particular machine the placement of the jackpot bulb and how to install it. Does it go behind the jackpot display piece?

would need to see a pic of the back of your machine... some have the jackpot light in the center others have them in the corners.. some have the jackpot and low ball in the same window..

    same bulb or bulbs

i think ya ment that both bulbs are in the same location.. one bulb for jackpot and one bulb for low ball.. wired seperate.. right..

if both bulbs come on for a jack pot or low ball that is truly unusual

back.jpg There is only one spot at the top for one bulb. I do not see a spot for a jackpot bulb. Where should I put it?

same bulbs, one in the top corner and one in the frame, both hooked to both switches so when it has a jackpot or is out of balls both light up

in the older daiichi I had (before it became parts to fix another one) the jackpot light was mounted on the back of the center feature and the out of balls light was in the corner

    Mike,
Was your question answered? Maybe a picture of the jackpot mechanism and jackpot dust cover would help? If the light goes there, there will be a hole going through the mechanism. I don't recall seeing a bulb holder on the jackpot dust cover on any of the Daiichi's I've seen.

Here is a demo of how mine was wired, I don't have the original bits anymore (they were modded into the one I fixed) but this is how it was wired and the bulb fit into a opening above and inside the center feature. And you can see where the bulb sat in the cutout just above the center shining through and down, others may not be set up like this but there is a chance that yours could.
