I hope it does well. That looks like a really nice machine. Hopefully it will go to a good home.

I repacked the box to lower the shipping cost and relisted the machine.

How did you repack the box? Also how do most of you pack the machines in the box anyways? I figure it would be easier to take off the front trays and stash them in the back and then give the buyer a set of instructions on how to put them back in place. It would then make the front flat and they won't get broken as easily. Can anyone post some pictures or something of how they pack their machines?

I use styrofoam, bubble wrap and anything else I can find to protect the trays, then secure it all in place with plastic wrap (the kind movers use). I ship using the sturdy bicycle boxes from a local bike shop, cutting them down as needed to reduce the shipping size and cost. I always ship them in their upright position, marking the box boldly with arrows indicating which end is up, as well as writing "Do Not Lay Flat" and "FRAGILE" everywhere I can. Since I have used this method I have not had a single machine damaged in shipment.

First off thanks for the link.

Second. It sounds like you just build some sleeves to go around the trays. What do you do for packaging on the back (model B and A. They must be sorta different.)? Also what do you use for padding the rest of the front?

Also what do most of you think about removing the trays? It would make it way easier to pack because you won't need to make sleeves or put a ton of padding around them. Also it would reduce the size of the box a bit making shipping a few bucks cheaper.

the size of the box is verry important.. i have had to repack a machine or two for being to big.. most shippers say its all about weight.. but keep in mind size matters.. allot

as for packing materials.. i have used several.. packing peanuts.. packing paper and rigid foam.. just keep in mind to put the machine in a trash bag or two before then packing peanuts..

i have never seen the need to take the tray off...
