So the dude called me back this afternoon and said he would be willing to let it go for $80, I figured that if I went and looked at it I was going to be able to talk him down. I got there and it is beautiful, the chrome is perfect, the cell is dirty but has no stains or ware on it, neat looking center feature and a bunch of tulips. 100_2392.jpg100_2393.jpg100_2394.jpg100_2395.jpg. I turn it around and see a bunch of stuff missing, 100_2391.jpgthe reward hopper, ball track cover, jackpot seesaw and covers, tracks for winning balls on the payout lever, linkages and lots of screws. I like the machine enough even with the missing parts to offer $40 he hems and haws for a few minutes, I lean the machine back against the wall and stand back up and he says "could you go $50?" I pull a $50 out of my pocket and now have my 30th pachinko.

It was more than I wanted to spend but I did not have to burn $30 worth of gas to get it so I am content, plus I have had some real good deals with the last few so if I average it was not bad at all.

I need a complete back for it (4 twist connectors hold it on) or a parts machine or I can convert it to cyclic. I am leaning to swapping parts with my other sankyo if it is the same mech and if not then making it cyclic.

WOW!! The cell alone makes it worth the money you spent! Me likes!!! I am naming it "Sankyo Choo-Choo"

As for the parts that are missing, I bet the PT community can rally and find the parts you need. I don't think I have any Sankyo parts machines in my shop, but I will check.

Great machine owen. Me likes too!! The cell is in fantastic shape. The front of it alone made it worth the $50. I'm sure you'll find parts for it or you will figure something out. I would help you out but I have only 2 sankyo's and both are 95% complete. (only missing some basic covers and minor things) If I ever come across some parts I'll let you know owen.

Also I know cardwwi makes the track cover and the ball trays. If you wouldn't mind getting reproduction ones.

it is the payout seesaw that has me worried, my other sankyo that is 4 years older has the same back so I am just going to swap the sunpaks and see about Afro-American engineering with my daiichi parts and see if I can make it work, if not I will do a cyclic mod on my dog and monkey sankyo as it will have the half back in about two hours

Yeah I would use the dog and monkey machine for the parts. Because the other one is just too nice looking to be made into a cyclic or a parts machine. plus you can always make the dog and monkey machine into a franken-pachi.

that is the plan, I need to tinker with the lights a bit and have two parts that need to be swapped but it will be a quick fix to get the new one going
