    Default Spin Knob Trouble

Hi everyone,I recently got a Marvel Heroes machine. The machine works great except the spin knob is worn and bend. This may have been damaged in shipment, not sure. The knob works sometimes and does not reset to the proper position unless The player is very careful when pushing it. I then have to fool with it to get it working again. I can easily remove and replace the two piece assembly if I could obtain a replacement. Anyone have any suggestion for a remedy or a part I could purchase? The switch has 3 wires on it. Is this simple a momentary switch closure and this then sends a signal to the MB? If this part is hard to find, could I splice the wires into the single credit play button on the machine ( which is unnecessay since there is a max play button that puts in the 3 credits required to play anyway) and use it to spin? Any advice or current part sources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Chris

I had a that same problem on a machine. I took the spin knob apart and bent the metal tab that goes between the sensors strait and a little drop of oil on the pivot axle, and it works fine. So you might be able to do the same.

Contact the vendor. Pretty much all pachislo vendors offer 1-2yr warranty on replacement parts.
A pachi I purchased 2 months ago needed a replacement top glass, the vendor sent me the entire top of the machine...
glass, speakers, top-lights, circuit boards & lamps in tact, the whole enchilada.
    ...and all FREE of charge.

If you purchased from a previous owner... look for any Abilit/Takasago built after 2001. They all share the same components.
    Craigslist is your hunting grounds.
