Default Vintage Nishijin Pachinko Machine needs work

Neat looking Kan Less machine. It is a little pricey though (start price $90). I haven't seen a kan less before it is really interesting how it is a very late model A. Everything looks so modern on it like a model C.

It seems that the jackpot tray is activated by an electric solenoid.

Price did seem high for a vintage...BUT I BOUGHT IT ANYHOW! Thanks mxfaiman! I wouldn't have seen it if it weren't for you. No other bidders, they must have thought it was too high also. I decided to buy because I have never seen a model A with electronic circuits and solenoids. Is it an older machine that was ahead of its time? Or is it a newer machine made off of old tooling? Anyhow I bought it because I just had to have it. As long as no one fried the circuits...I,ll be good!

Arrived today, as well as the WINNING PACHINKO book/package! What an exciting day! If only I didn't have to go to work and could stay at home and play and read all day!!!Back to the machine. This baby does need work! First of all, this baby is filthy! Plus, a variety of cracked or broken plastic. And the coup de grace, at least one break in a circuit board that has a relay resoldered to correct it. This is going to be a serious challange, (which is why I bought it) and will be awhile before it becomes operative. I have too many irons in the fire to tackle this right now... but I did take some pictures!model A electric 001.jpg I hate taking pics with glass in place...but this is how I got it...before I threw the glass away!model A electric 004.jpg This was probably the only damage while shipping. Couldn't tell by the box, looked perfect. Not mad...glass is the easiest thing to replace. There are many other breaks, none serious. here is one.model A electric 024.jpg most of the others are stress cracks that will be noticeable in other pics. 1st of all, it has a cowboy & Indian theme. model A electric 008.jpg A cowboy, bent over at the waist, looking between his legs, with a sixshooter in each hand, aimed at you. With 2 Indians above him. Here is the whole play field.model A electric 007.jpg There are water stains, not serious...but bad in some places. Now the good stuff! This is a model A machine...But, It has actual electronic circuitry, with solenoids! I have only looked at it for less than 30 minutes, so I can only guess at how stuff works. First of all, jackpots are triggered by a solenoid pulling down on the payout tray.(somebody give me a real or better name for this. Jackpot seesaw has already been taken!model A electric 018.jpgThere is also a solenoid to reset the jackpot seesaw.model A electric 016.jpg There is an electric motor that rotates and fills the lower tray. Which I can't seem to post yet. Ill be right back.

The electric motor...<img style="margin: 1px;" src="attachment.php?attachmentid=44206&amp;stc=1" attachmentid="44206" alt="" id="vbattach_44206" class="previewthumb"> I can't say much, I won't plug into wall before some basic electrical tests. But not yet. Too busy. Can't kill it because of rush. But here are some pics of a machine I never could have imagined. Rival... If you come up with anything about this machine and you want ANY pics for your new website... just PM me and I will be happy to help you!
