1964 Nishijin Singleshot
Ok, won the ebay auction for this one and a 1973 Nishijin, a package deal. Just arrived today.
Every single component in the rear is metal with the exception of orange lens / tracks for the pockets. No tulips. The playfield graphics have barely enough to go by to reproduce, looks like 4 colors (besides the brown) that have almost completely faded. This is an exceptional unit that appears complete. Chrome is still good and will shine well. Verified manufacture date of 1964 both by expiration tag in upper right (12 40) and a triangular manufacture sticker in the lower right (1964).
This is the pic from the ebay auction for reference. More pics will be forthcoming once the restoration commences. I will get some fresh pics up to my website soon under models/Nishijin so people can identify this as a 1964 should they ever get their hands on one. This is the oldest Nishijin I have ever encountered.
