Do you purchase new or used tokens for your machines?

I am going to need more tokens and was wondering if most of you use newly minted ones or the used ones and your reasons why?

i like the original used tokens,

most of my machines have them,

the few with new tokens came with them from demos777

plus used tokens are much cheaper on ebay.

i use new tokens in my machine, but only because its personal preference although i do like the authentic tokens.

At first I wanted new tokens, but after getting into this hobby, I find I like the old tokens better. The new ones often say such things as "not for cash value" etc. The old ones actually came from the parlors and are very cool.

For my most prized machines I bought all new tokens for the rest I bought used because its the realistic way to go when your not rich but if I had the choice they would all be new!

I only use authentic parlor tokens, but most of them look new after a quick dip in the rock tumbler.

I have both new and used and I prefer the used parlor tokens myself as well. The new ones just don't feel right.

I sold off my new ones some time back. I really do enjoy the old ones -- ummm, cleaned to perfection of course.

The Used ones - look almost new -as they have already been cleaned prior to purchase.......

I love to see all the different designs........

At first I wanted brand new ones, but then I started feeling like I was at Chuckie Cheese. With the info on this forum, I quickly learned how to get the used ones just as clean as the new and save 3-5cents per token by getting used vs. buying new ones. Plus with the used, each token is different and if it could talk, oh the stories we would hear....

All of my machines use 'USED" tokens. I got a great deal from GAKU on his website.
Does anyone have a good way to clean them? Sorry I dont have a rock tumbler.

swish around in a mixture of CLR and hot water, rinse well and dry by moving them around in a towel
