Default Trying to identify name of machine

Just bought my first machine and wanted to do some research about it online, but I have no idea what the actual name of it is! Make seems to be Sankyo and from what I've been told it's around 10 years old.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi shawn,

Your machine appears to be this one from March 2002, CRFバカ殿SP which is CR (card reader) F (Fever) Baka (Stupid/silly) Shingari (Mr.) SP (special), so roughly
    CRF Mr Stupid SP.

The 'stupid/silly' reference comes from the lead character, a comedian in Japan. There were 4 types of this machine, in various configs, released that year and Sankyo has continued the series in later years.

There is always another machine around the corner...

Thanks everyone for the welcome messages.

Regarding the last post, thanks for mentioning the dongle. I ended up reading a bunch of posts on this forum to actually learn what it was and now I've ordered one for my machine.

I do have a further question hopefully someone might have an answer to.

I was looking over the back of my machine and noticed what looked like a cut wire at the very top right. I'm wondering if this is something I should be concerned about? The machine itself seems to be playing fine. I haven't noticed any issues, but with this being my first one I hardly have a frame of reference.

Here's the entire back of the machine:

This is a close up of the top-right of the machine where I've noticed the wire. It's the green one just to the right of the other wires.

    Thanks!

my machine has the same green wire but it is not cut... just keeps heading down behind the plastics and points south??? My guess would be its a ground wire.. probably not a huge issue but something ya might wana investagate...

I don't have this frame so can't help you. It might be an earth but they normally have a yellow stripe on them. Maybe moparformance can check the back of his machine.
