No room for more pics on 1st post. Ball lifter slot guts 017.jpgDone 009.jpg The box is temporary, holds it upright for further testing.Done 004.jpg I didn't bother sanding it too much or filling the nail holes. When I build my pachiwall it will be discarded or given away.Done 001.jpg This pic is before rubbing the wood with boiled linseed oil. Done 010.jpgThis one after. If anyone wants the pigtail I cut off...PM me and it is free.

$112.50 + $11.50 shipping. It came with the switch for the upper ball tray, and a spring for the top of the tube.Ball lifter slot guts 010.jpg looks like it was underwater, but it works.

It has a electric ball dump, closedelectric ball dump 001.jpg and openelectric ball dump 002.jpg. It can be manually operated by the lever on the frontelectric ball dump 003.jpg I think I'm gonna drill and tap a 1/4-28 hole and screw in a small screw to block movement so I don't have an accidental ball dump. Here is the pigtail I cut offelectric ball dump 004.jpg The white and black went to power, the red and yellow went to the ball dump solenoid. I can't imagine anyone needing it...but if you do it is free, just ask.

Thanks for posting the Great Pics. Looks like you made out good! Could you please tell me what kind of power source does it use, 110V AC, 12V DC or other? Thanks

    looks good

I can't really tell is that a blue or purple paint that you put on there. Either way it looks really good especially with the orange lettering.

    100 machines and counting...

Stellar Blue Pearl, Dupli-Color matches Toyota cars. I just looked for the coolest color on the paint wall. I only did the lettering in orange because it matched the gear. I have been testing it on 110vac, seems to work fine.

I have paid over 200 for ones that were ALMOST as bad, so you did well !!!

    They operate on 110v NP

BTW - you can buy square tubing. Look around on the net

What is a good way to mount square tube? I was looking at some the other day, I went with the cheaper plastic pipe.

Pachiwall, Could you please measure the outside diameter of the ball lifter sprocket within 1/64 inch or .16 mm so that I could get a reference size to scale your picture. With that dimension and an electric can opener (don't tell the wife) I think I can put together a cheap ball lifter. Thanks

Gladly...I would try to build one myself if I didn't have so many other projects. The outside dia. from tooth to tooth averages 1.912". The gear is plastic, due to wear I got several readings... largest being 1.912" to smallest 1.908". The thickness is .536". The pic showing .554" is including the thickness of the words on the gear also. Not sure if this dimension is usefull, but the dia. of what I'll call the valley is 1.552". This is the smallest diameter of the root between the teeth. I included this because the ball touches this point and is centered on the gear. Distance between teeth is .345". The smallest diameter of the gear, as seen in pics 2 & 3, is 1.163". I didn't take a pic because it probably isn't important, as the ball never touches it, but decided to give dimensions anyway. Hope this helps all you ball lifter builders out there! The gear seems to be everyones stumbling block. May the mighty BALLDOZER and many other breaking new ball lifters put an end to this plague of overpriced ball lifters forever! Thank you inventers (especially daverob & Berzerk!) for all your hard work!!! Success or fail...information is king, and we all gain from others work!

So what I'm looking for is a piece of square tube that will slide into the square hole at the top of the gear, and let a pachinko ball roll through. I'm stopping at Lowes on the way to work tomorrow. THANKS
