Thanks that link worked for me but when I try to navigate to a link from Japamart or Juno it just tells me server forbidden.
I'm going to have to learn a few Japanese characters I guess.

I have never used japamart, when dealing with Juno I have just told him the item number or the url. Try using google translate,

Not at this time, at least not from Japan.

I do want a Julie but I'm sure I can find one of those in the US... eventually.
I might come across something I like and want to buy it. I have a list of machines I want to buy.
Frank at CustomPachinko is looking for most of those. But I like weird and wacky and
that type of machine is probably not high on any importers list.

Any help you want to give I'm willing to learn.

I've been looking for a julie but no luck yet Half the battle is finding the correct catergory, Some times its better to just browse than seach for something specific. Especially as the titles can be in english or japanese, with or without makers and entering the wrong charactor will not find it.

I'd better start saving for my first pachislo especially as the shipping costs will be at $700. I might speak to Frank as shipping from the US might be cheaper than Japan. But thats next christmas present

Well I hope I find a Julie soon. I don't even own 1 modern Pachinko machine yet.
The others are on order with Frank but I have no idea how long it will be for his next shipment.
I'm guessing not all that soon.
Using the bidding services is great if you can figure it out.

I contacted Juno today regarding a cell I'd found on YJA. Superfast responding to emails. Within an hour money had changed hands and the cell was bought.

I can't fault Juno so far much easyer to deal with than Japamart and SMJ no need to set up an account. Just tell him what you want he sends an email with the total of item plus shipping to him. Then he sends a further request for shipping to the US once he receives the item.

That's true now, but at the time I wrote that it wasn't.
So far they are working quite well although the Julie is getting all the love from my wife right now.

I don't really know what it's all about apart from some old Japanese tv show but it looks pretty cool.

How much is shipping costing you guys? Considering shipping a few over, but trying to figure out exactly how much that ends up costing. Still blows my mind how cheap these machines seem to be over there.

the machines are so cheap over there as they are consitered garbage as soon as they are removed from the parlors. Think about how many millions of machines are removed each year, it is supply and demand and they are worth way more for scrap than as a collectable there.

No 3rd story yet but a little bit of rearranging has been made since your last visit.

To answer the wanderer the cell and shipping to Juno was $71 then if I ship via boat (7-8 week wait) I expect the total with fees etc to be no more than $175.

It's the shipping that really bumps up the price. The current exchange rate doesn't help ether.

Yeah, I remember a few years ago being in Japan when it was almost 120 yen to a dollar on average.

Quick question on this, are you saying the total as in just the fees to ship and all that, or the game + shipping + fees totaled 175?
