Default Accessing Lock when your Pachinko is screwed into your wall cabinet

I have started building my first cabinet for my Pachinko. I would like to screw the machine to the cabinet once it is mounted on the wall. Do you guys have any ideas how I can access the back of the machine just in case i have to work on something in the back. I think I saw somewhere someone drilled a hole in the side of the cabinet to lift the lock to the open position using your finger. Any other ideas?

Thats what I would do. Use a hole saw or router and make a hole where the release lever is. Shouldnt look too bad. I'm sure you could fine something to plug the hole (like a rubber grommet of some sort) if you dont like how it looks when you dont need to access the lever.

I think i will just put a hole on the side. I was planning on putting up a few cabinets side by side but I guess I will have to leave a little space in between the cabinets so I can reach the access hole. Thanks

The wall mount I bought had a hole already in the side but in the wrong place, I ended up attaching some fishing line and made a small wooden handle. I wish I could come up with a way to just get the glass to open. Opening the whole mechanism is very front heavy. I had to re-enforce the wall mount, the one that came with it wasn't up to the task and fell one day. I can now lift it and remove it from the wall and it is attached to two studs. For clearance I had to remove a green plastic cover from the back. Works great and I don't have to worry so much about earthquakes.

A key -OR- the ARBY LOCK MOD would solve your issue.
