    Scoobs-

What I would recommend is to find out which machines you are interested in (make a list of 5 or 6). Go to ebay and do a search for completed listings to get a feel (average) of what they are going for. Also compare that to some of the main dealers direct purchase on their web sites. Also look for some deals that other members put up for sale. I don't know where you are located, but check to see if there are any dealers near you...you could save on shipping that way. Good luck to you in your search.

    Slotter,

You remember correctly, because I contemplated wheather to buy it or not, but I past on it...I couldn't justify spending $1300 for it!

What title are you looking for? What's your budget?
I buy machines in bulk and I have a list of prices for all major vendors in the past 60 days.

The lowest price that I got from ebay is $102 for the Thunder Birds, $100 for the Neo Planet, and $52 for the Mephisto.

I never paid more than $231.00 (Including shipping and handling) on any of my machines. They don't even look like they were ever used!?!?

They all came with 500 new coins, some with the brass/gold coins.

    My secret is this...

On eBay, search for... "Pachislo" or "Skill slot" or "Slot machine" or "Tokens"
Don't search for all at once, do each one seporately.

For your initial bid, bid a solid amount so that few people look at that one. They tend to look at the lower priced ones first, and waste time bidding on those. If you can afford to pay $200.00 and the shipping is $69.00 then bid $131.00 to start.

Others will tie up thier bidding in the ones selling for $15.00... overlooking the one you bid $131.00 on. They won't even think about going to that one when they push thier model over $131.00... They will keep fighting for that one, and it gets into a personal "Outbid war"

It won't get you every one you bid for, but you should get 50% of the ones you bid for. Just don't go crazy like I did...

I was sick one day, and woke up to see I won a bid on a Pachislo that I don't remember bidding on... (Good medication...)

One thing led to another... Now I have five!

Azteca (The Legend Returns), AKA: Legend
$231.00 (Mint condition), FROM: Grand View Products Inc

    Destroyer
$204.00 (Near-Mint condition), FROM: Valley Gaming

    Neo-PlanetT
$219.00 (Mint condition), FROM: Slot USA

    Gold-X (Million-God), AKA: God-Game
$194.00 (Mint condition), FROM: Slot USA

    Twist (Million-Dollar-Rock)
$231.00 (Near-Mint condition), FROM: 5 Star Deal Auctions

    TOTAL DAMAGE SO FAR...
    $1079.00 ($1079.00 / 5 = $215.18 AVG.)

5 machines is not crazy for this bunch. I'm one of the more subdued buyers and I currently have 15. not counting what I've sold or have given as presents. #16 will be on it's way soon.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

When I first read this, I knew that something seemed wrong, but I didn't know what. It just occurred to me that nobody else would see the $131 bid until a second bidder backed it up. The only way this would work would be if you had 2 IDs and used the second to back-up the 1st. I never thought of doing that, but it would work. I wonder if its a violation of any e-bay policy to use a second ID to support your bid and keep real second bidders at bay?

so if no one else bid on this item you would have forced yourself to pay more than opening bid for the machine!! SMART!!!
