Unhappy Betty has a dead pixel

I just brought Betty Boop out of storage for my wife.
After spraying the contacts & vol switch in hopes of reducing the incessant speaker hum, I powered her up to find a dead pixel in the lcd.

Should there be any member willing to part out an lcd equipped 2002/2003 Sammy or Sammy built IGT pachi, I would be interested in purchasing said component.
Again, I wish to purchase a replacement lcd screen for a Betty Boop pachislo.

    Thank you

Just one dead pixel? Sometimes they will go away after the screen warms up.
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o

Yup, just the one... & oddly enough it, it was red.
Mostly I've seen them go white... maybe it's not dead, just sick?
I left it on for about a half hour while I was fitting a couple others with volume controls, but I didn't bother to check it before I switched off the power strip.
    I'll check it again tomorrow.
    Thanks for the info.

Betty has been on for an hour now & the tiny dead pixel still plagues her screen.
I suppose that means I'm still in the market for a replacement lcd.

Anyone willing to part with an appropriate lcd screen, please contact me by pm at your earliest convenience.
Once again, I thank you for your consideration.

Mr. Tim, seems like I read something recently about somebody having a couple of dead 'uns. They weren't white (if that means anything), and did return to normal (after a off/on sequence?). Did you wish to check with lompoker?

    I treated the on/off switch like a 4yr old.
After incessantly switching Ol Bebe between on & off 3doz times... pixel still non-functional.
After allowing 40min for her to achieve reasonable warmth, another 4doz flips o' the switch... pixel still non-functional.
15 minutes thereafter, a couple dozen intermittent power ups at random intervals... pixel still non-functional.

    On/Off sequence officially exhausted

pm sent to lom... awaiting reply.

    Anyone else?

I had a stuck pixel on my computer monitor a few months ago and I was poking it with my finger and it came back..Its been fine ever since!!

Maybe just try lightly poking it a few times??

    .

...it would seem Betty doesn't respond to a good poking, or massage.
    ~Sharpie pressure method exhausted.
~Screen massage with microfiber cloth yielded no positive results either.
Both methods were applied with & without power.

    LCD part#: 2-M2.6X6MAX

Whosoever may find a spare, please forward information to TikiTim via pm.

    Again, I thank you
