RIP Andrew Gold

Andrew Gold, a singer, musician and composer whose songs included the 1977 hit "Lonely Boy," has died. He was 59.

Gold was a multi-instrumental player whose popular singles included "Thank You for Being a Friend" and the British hit "Never Let Her Slip Away."

Truely sad...59 is too young!!

I remember those hits growing up.

Looks like Cancer got another one. Imagine how his mother feels. I know what its like to lose a child. The closest to suicide I'd ever been. At least with Cancer its a slow process in most cases and you have some time, for the lack of a better term, to prepare.
