Default Eva 5 flashing front lights

I turned the machine on today and the front lights will not stop flashing. The frame and cell lights just flash. I played it a little and it works fine, it just flashes. I have no error codes and have reset the machine using three reset buttons with no luck. I have unplugged it and will try later to see if it still does it.

    Thank you for any help.

That happens whenever the machine is turned off for too long. Basically you have to push the black button on the lower left side of the back of the cell to reset the memory and it should be fine. It is something that happens with all Sankyo/Bisty models that use the Crystella frame.

Not sure what one you need to do this with (try with each) with machine turned off press and hold button, keep holding the button and power up machine, hold for about 10 seconds. It should be the one by the power switch or the one that is not next to the 7 segment led (hope that made sense)

When I reset with the button by the power switch (#3), the flashing is faster and it tells me to hit the #1 button. After I do that the flashing is still there at the steady interval of one flash every second.

It's not something like a low ball or hopper indicator. The lumina frame has one red light for low ball and another for front hopper full. But these don't flash.

Not something silly like a ball jam before the payout motor.

but this is not a lumina frame, it is a version of the crystalia (or how it is spelled right, I suck with spelling) I know some have had issues with it for having the door not shut right and I seem to remember a comment about lights flashing but for the life of me don't remember who or what it was other than it was a very easy fix. would not hurt to fiddle with the micro switches for the door, ball tray, check connections... It has to be something easy

I know its not a Lumina. It was a point of reference. Look for a simple fix first

Could it possibly be that your front door is not closed all the way, or the switch indicating that the door is closed is not getting depressed enough?

That was it, the switch was not depressed enough. Got it working now, a piece of thin wood and double sided tape.

    thanks all
