Default Tribute to J.W. Pepper, Clifton James. James Bond and the defunct AMC motors

I know this is stupid guys. But I couldnt get it off my head all day.

When Mo and I went back and forth on Momslegacy's thread the other day I had to look into the the man, that is J.W. Pepper!!! Kind of reminds of you from someone from Dukes of Hazard or Smokey and the Bandit but this guy is a true original...may I say Redneck! Mind you, before either of those actors except for maybe Slim Pickens had a persona like this. Forgive me if you think I'm out of line or racist, whatever.

It turns out he acted in 2 James Bonds films "Live and let die" which still holds a world record boat jump without a ramp, and "Man with the Golden Gun". Here's the classic boat jump scene from the first movie with JW.

Then there was his next appearance as his redneck self, but as a tourist, in the famous car chase scene with James Bond driving an AMC Hornet X Hatchback (also with the infamous FLYING AMC Matador). This movie was a complete plug for AMC.

I like the Roger Moore years of James Bond and these 2 really stand out!! I know we have "our" different James Bonds heroes but Sean Connery and Roger Moore were my favorities.

Just some thoughts, once again, my apologies if this offends anyone, in any way, shape, or form.

    Enjoy!!

I love those 2 Bond movies, I just watched them both on DVD not very long ago.
Sheriff Pepper was great in both.
I love it when he said to Bond in Live and Let Die - "What are you???some kind of a doomsday machine boy?"

Another classic clip with one of the most famous car jumps in movie history.
