    Default Sankyo Tiger Cage

    This is a fun machine!

Get a pachinko ball in the top pockets or the top tulips and the cage opens! The tiger, oddly enough, has never attempted to escape...

When I got it, ALL the wires were missing, so it has some LEDS (6) and a battery holder added.

    This machine is SO shiney...
    How shiney is it?
The reflection of the tripod is distracting in a few pictures...

Has a clear back that is hinged! My favorite...

That just might be the cleanest vintage I have ever laid eyes upon. Just pristine. You are very fortunate, and I really like the caged tiger feature. Very cool.

Neat looking machine. I love the tiger and the cage. Also, do you have any pictures of it before you did anything to it?

This machine is all Mechanical. The cage bars pivot down and forward, almost like a modern machine's FEVER gate, if that makes sense...

Here are some pictures in the two positions...

I do have a before picture but somehow the file size is too big. This machine was pretty dirty, it took some time to clean it up, fortunately not a lot of rust and virtually no water stains...

It takes me about a week to take a machine apart and clean it up (off and on), it's a hobby for me, not my daytime job... this machine took an extra night to outfit the lights and wires.

I spend (on average) about 20-30 hours restoring a single machine. Like you, it is a hobby for me as well. The quickest I did a complete recondition/restoration was over a weekend, but that is all I did during that weekend.

Thanks for posting those before pictures. That machine looked great before you even did anything to it. Amazing, I wish I could find machines in that condition.
