Modern power supply

Stupid question. I just picked up a Tomb Raider machine and I notice the power supply doesn't have an external transformer & the machine is labeled 100 volts. Do the power supplies compensate for the extra voltage or have they been modified by the importer?

I know some machines here use 240-110v site transformers.
Me personally. And for the cost of a transformer. I wouldn't risk it. But I like to play it safe. Thats why Cutie Honey has a 12A power supply.
Best way is to locate the machines own transformer and measure the output voltage. It It may not have been altered. It's 10% higher than rated. Any slight spikes could cause some damage.

the pachislo machines that don't have extrenal transformers ,use a self adjusting transformer that can step up or step down power. You should not have any problem plugging it in to a wall .You can try it by testing the output of the transformer leads, they should read 24 volts.
