As a supervisor in a call center, we use an IVR. (Interactive Voice Response) and if you say " customer sevice" it takes you to our staff... not all systems are like that tho. Some do like paying over the phone to get them on and off the phone quickly. Also, hitting "o" as a default takes you to a live person but thats becoming rare. I know people hate them but if the system is set up right, it can be a positive experience. Ive heard good and bad things working on phone systems.
