Can you give me an example of a pachi? Do we have documentation of one in the research library so I can try it?

I wonder how these get handled in parlors...is there like a "repair " person on site that maintain machines? I'm sure someone like that would know...how would someone contact one?

You need to swing the machine out of the frame by turning the key clockwise (making sue the the whole thing is supported so it doesn't "dump over" when the machine swings out) I suspect that everything is blocked because the machine is still in the frame, or a cabinet.

Anyway - once do that...look for a pressure latch somewhere and it may slide out to the right. I wish I was there to help ya.

I'll take some pics of the steps.\, and get them up here for your reference

I do see a small white latch at the bottom, but nothing slides out. I'll wait to see your photos. I appreciate the assistance... I'm going nuts trying to figure this out...

my guess is also, that you can swing out the sun pak (the part of the frame with some boards on it) and then you can access this area. I you are not sure what we are talking about, take a look at the sankyo lumina manual. probably you should see the hinges and just need to find the levers and/or latches that keep it closed.

I finally figured out how to take the cell out, so i was able to view the payout unit. I didnt see any balls in the paths, so i checked the motor and I believe its burnt out. In order for me to fix it, i would have to remove all the plastics around the casing, but for now Im just going to just manually add the balls and forget the play out. Im sure someday Ill take it all apart but not now.

usually the payout hopper unit is just clipped for easy exchange, once out you can open it with some screws and clean it, no rocket science... did that 3 times already. Watch the payout unit when you start the machines. you should be able to see if it tries to move.

Well... wait until you are ready. Do you hear any clicking when you "call for balls"???

BTW - your machine will eventually get "sick" if it can't payout balls, and then you will have to reset the payout board (probably close to the dongle)

PS I can take the pics tonight if you still want them

Aside from the two screws on the back, I didnt see any screws that would loosen the engine to remove it. Unplugging the wire wouldn't let me pull it out and all the plastics are in one piece, not separated.

OK - I am gonna try to take a movie for you today, when I will dis-assemble the payout mech, and show you the reset procedure. Look for it in the early afternoon okay

What I will show you is basically the same for ALL modern deji-pachis

That was it!!! Once you showed me where to find the payout reset button, it did the trick. I just spent a half hour reloading the balls until it had paid out everything. I'm so grateful I don't know what to say..

Thank you SO MUCH!!! The machine pays out perfectly now...I spend a solid week taking everything apart and reassembling...and all I had to do was press the reset button...

I love Pachitalk...I really really do...
