Someone can describe how it work, or better, have some pics or sketch?? I have an idea about it but not sure.

Look like some kind of zigzag metal band in the back to keep the tulip open

Is this the only tulip like this or are there more than this one? If it's the only one, I agree mith Mopar...it's probably broken. If so, hopefully repairable.

This was part from a set of three but the two other ones was normal tulips. the arrow shaped hole on this was not on the two other ones. I thought it was maybe some kind of allow-denied tulip. When in \/ position, the tulip catch balls coming from top and both sides, maybe a ball unlock the tulip and the tulip change for the /\ position, rejecting side balls, accepting only top balls. It's just what I think it look like, but maybe it's broken too.

I'm surprised Mopar you didn't saw this kind of tulip before. hehehehe. When I posted the message, I thought humm.. did I ask it to Mopar directly ?? hehehehe

Have you ever seen a tulip with the back flipper like this one. there's a metal part attach to the top-back of the tulip..

I have seen one with a metal "trip" wire attached but don't have a picture.
Pachinko ball from a different win pocket rolled past it and opened the tulip. It had marker line on it; I assume from Nishijin.

hear the question of the day

holding it in your hand drop a few balls threw the top and see what it does..

i would love to see a vid of it in action..

any working tulip will work exactly the same way in your hand as it would instaled in a cell..
