What about the labeling that states "Sammy Inustries Co., LTD".

    Does this mean anything?

Thanks. Although i must say, i was a bit mistaken. Actually there was kind of primitively Bonus mode for earlier machines also, but not that kind of regular bonus as it is current from what i would assume. I see some earlier pre <85 which also has "bonus" written on marquee etc. So machine of yours might as well be a little earlier. Sorry for confusion, but as said, i am not know much of Pachislo machines.

Anyway, yours machine are seems to be very rare and unique, and this is of course both good and bad. Bad for very hard to locating it. But good for the uniqueness and rarity of a machine that not many people have!

I just figured it being labeled Sammy Industries Co., LTD meant that it was made by Sammy??

I realize this an old thread, but I have one of these "The Sands" I bought back in 2008 at a yard sale. Thanks everybody for posting the info about it. I was not able to find any info on it when I bought it and now was searching, found this info, awesome. Did you get yours to run correctly?, it sounded like the wheels were not in correctly on yours searayrules. Mine plays correctly, but from time to time gets an EE coin error and I have to open and reset it.

Hello jsmackie and welcome to the group

I'm not completely sure on your EE error code but sometimes by unplugging and re-seating the cables you can clear up issues.

Do you get the error during play or only when you first power up the machine? Others with more knowledge should come along later on.
