    Default earthquake!

i heard on a Japanese tv station this morning that the ceiling of a pachinko parlor fell in and there were some people trapped inside. i do hope that everybody out there is okay. thats a big quake! my thoughts go out to all those affected.

I have friends and their Families living over there now and they have been pretty darn lucky some have lost power others have had their homes shaken and messed up but they are okay. An 8.9 Earthquake is a very devastating thing!

i just found out a friend from high school is a nuclear tech working over there and is at the plant that exploded last night. they were no where near the plant at the time. but he said it is a scary situation to be in. we both went through the 89 SF quake and he said that was just a walk in the park compared. my thoughts go out to all those over there.

Everyday I see new images of this tragedy and it bring tears to your eyes... So sad and it seems like it just keeps getting worse with the nuclear plant issues. Makes you feel so helpless

All our family in Tokyo are well and we've heard back from half of our contacts in Japan, so we hope the rest are okay too. I hope the nuclear power plants can be contained and that everyone who needs assistance and care receive it quickly.
