    Default Unknown Dunes Machine

Hello everyone. I'm new to the pachislo world. I bought this machine being told it was an old slot machine used in the Dunes Casino. I Have no keys for it but was able to open it through a hole in the back. After looking around online Ive found out its actually a pachislo machine. There's another post on here about an old dunes machine. Mine has a lot of the same properties but looks older. It holds 99 credits and you can play up to five quarters at a time. Ive looked all over the internet for information and have come up with none. If anybody could help me it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I'm stumped, It sure looks like a pachislo but yet has an American style pay table, no tax stickers on the belly glass, holds 99 credits and takes up to 5 coins. I don't think this was ever used in Japan. Nice find what ever it is.

The interior & body style are similar to a 1997 Olympia machine I picked up off of CL 2 weeks ago for $60.
The seller said the hopper was shorted out; but after getting it home, it turned out the dump switch was on.
He had been using an old coffee can as a hopper. I can't image it was very playable.

Although mine has a 3coin max & the credits top out at 50 like any other title, it has quite a few components of yours.
There's an Olympia on YJA with the exact interior of yours, if I recall correctly.
It was one of the "Bunny" versions.

    Have you tried using tokens?
    It's a much cheaper & legal alternative.

Your machine might have been on a cruise ship. Some of the cruise shipsin the mid to late 90's did use pachislo based machines, that were customized. to take more credits and play quarters by the japanese manufacturers.

Thank you all for the replies. And no Tiki I haven't tried tokens but I will now. When I bought it I was told it was a slot machine from the 70's so I thought quarters were fine. But I will definatley be getting some tokens.
