hi guys/gals.

I have been away from pachitalk for a while, so I thought I would update you.

unfortunately, I am in the midst of a divorce. the wife moved out when I was on vacation in Hawaii at New Year's with some college buddies. I have been devasted, depressed, angry, resentful... the usual range of ups and downs. slowly getting better, but now there is more room for pachi's

then, my new job as a biomechanics engineer has picked up some, and I have been busy doing research, writing reports, visiting accident sites, and soon, testifying in court... so there's been good progress on that front.

my ER job was crazy in January, since one of the doctor's wives was critically ill in India, and I picked up extra shifts to help out. we had a lot of very sick patients, and some amazing trauma cases come into my ER that we saved, so that kept me very busy.

add to the above my electric vehicle advocacy, and I have been showing off my Chevy Volt at EV meetings. I was the second person in California (there were 3 of us on December 18th) that received the car, with Jay Leno the first on December 17th.

through my meetings and promoting of the Volt (I love the car), I was invited to be on Monterey public access TV and the Central Coast news (though my car had more air time that I did). it's been a lot of fun, but exhausting with all the driving from berkeley to menlo park or salinas... at least I am getting a minimum of 35 miles per gallon with the Volt, and much more if I can plug in and use the battery for part of the drives.

here are my latest video's. I even wore good clothes that day. And, I will have to wear a suit and comb my hair for court!

I miss you guys and owe rich (ttc57) another chicken fried steak and more time with my Matrix pachinko machine.

Nice interviewa with the volt we have been byoassed with it in the uk and have just been offered the nissan leaf (would prefer chevy after owning both companys)
