Welcome to PachiTalk! I'm glad to see another Colorado member on the forum. Where are you located?

That is a really clean and complete machine. It was probably built in the mid 1970's and imported to the US around a year or so later. Let us know if there is something specific you would like to know and we will try to help.

    Welcome to Pachitalk

thats a really cool machine... im not sure i can quite figure out how the mech on the back works.. i dont rember seeing anything quite like that before..

if you could post a close up pic of the expiration sticker (lower right corner of the playfield) it will give more of an idea of date... but mid 70's sounds right..

if your planing on playing i can see a few Packing peanuts stuck in the back... make sure ya get them out before playing..

if ya could post a close up pic of the center feature that would be neat.. Open glass..

    nice machine

Thanks everyone, I have no idea as to the hows or whats of the machine, it was given to me over 20 years ago and has been packed away in a clean safe enviroment ever since.
I was wondfering if anyone has an idea of the value of it.
I did try and see the dates on the stickers or the numbers rather as I saw on a site how you can help determine its vintage.
I have no key for it and didnt want to damage it in any way trying to get it open.
I also didnt want the locksmith that looked at it drilling it out, he wasnt to sure about it either.
JUst have a family medical issue to deal with and well some things take priority, I was approached to sell it but again I have no idea what is a fair price.
I also canot find a machine online that resembles it in any way.
    So that is my dilema.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

BTW Jack I am in Salida

The key is not important unless it is mounted in a case and even then there are ways around it to be able to open the latch so no worries there. If you are looking to sell it I think posting it in the members trade section with some closer pictures would be a good idea. As for value that is hard to say, I think it being an unusual model would at least get more interest from collectors but if that will get you any more money in an offer is hard to tell. I like it a lot and wish you luck whatever you choose to do.

there is a latch on the back seen in your picture.. right side mid way down... its a loop.. put you finger in it and lify up.. the frong glass door should pop open.. sometimes you may have to give it a little pull...

value is hard... Da-bay is going to get ya the most for it... and thre going to charg ya the most.. like owen said... try posting it hear for a bit... i know we have a few collectors in your neck of the woods..

If i were closer i would buy it but shipping puts it out of my price range right now...

    Good luck to ya

You may want to browse this thread regarding valuation of machines:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...-machines.html

As you will find, there are a variety of factors involved: age, condition, buyer desire, geographic location, etc. Here in the city of Denver, you could probably expect to get anywhere from $50 to $150 for it on Craigslist, however due to your rather remote location there probably aren't as many buyers looking for vintage Pachinko machines to the value may be less. As Mopar mentioned, ebay will reach a larger audience and you may fetch more, but you will need to pay the hefty seller fees and contend with packing and shipping.

If you have a local buyer wanting it (as you indicated in your last post), then I would think, based on the present condition, that $75 - $100 would be a good starting point.

    I hope this information helps!

that is the price range I was thinking as that is the range I would be willing to pay if I had cash. (I just did not want to be the first to say it)

Regarding your pic of the stamps, there should be some numbers within the Japanese writing. Can you tell me what those numbers are? That way i can date your machine.

i think i can see a 54 in the sticker... so that would make it a 1978 machine or so... i still think it looks a bit older then that...

    nice looking machine.. great colors

hope you change your mind and keep it... allot of us started out with machines in way worse condition

Wow. That looks super. Well done on keeping it in such good condition. Even if it has been packed away.
