silver is hitting new highs, here is a chart to tell you the current value of your silver coins

dealers should be paying at least 15 times face value or more

well i looked around and found $9.00 face value in silver i took it to the coin shop and got $172.00 cash

5.25 pre 1964 u.s. 75 cents .800 fine canadian, 2 older silver dollars and a 40% ike dollar.

they were buying a collection from a lady for close to 2 grand.

they said their wholesaler wasn't buying silver at today's prices for now

Or one of those "We buy gold" (and silver) places?

had to be a coin store, one of the "we buy" places would have only given him about $45 if they are like the ones around here

never take to buy here pay here silver and gold or those full page ads in the paper!!

a local coin dealer is always your best way, if your not sure you can stop in and chat with them first.

most dealers are fair, but there are some who will offer you little and try to take advantage of you.

they are a brick and mortar store and will be there months and years from now.

i've known the 2 brothers i deal with for 24 years and i delt with their parents coin shop before that for 6 years

I have a bunch of Disney Snow White and Looney Toons, limited run silver rounds (1 oz.) that I'm tired of hanging on to.

Maybe nows the time to sell.

Unfortunately, The nearest coin store is quite a distance away.

a good idea would be to print out that coin values silver list the day you take your coins in

keep in mind the dealer has too make a profit, but it should not be to much profit!!!

gold broke thru the 1,500.00 barrier today ask is 1,505.50 an ounce

silver is at 46.18 an ounce today, a silver dime has $3.37 in silver in it

If they say one ounce .999 on them you should get around Forty Five dollars apiece from a reputable coin dealer. Even sometimes a little more. Those were sold as collectables but so many were made their is not much of a market except for the different ones. I have seen them go pretty high on ebay for some but most only make silver value. good luck
