Default Just brought My 1st pachinko!! Ball help needed in UK

    Hi all,

Ime posting this while I am waiting to collect my machine later on this evening I can't wait!!! (wii post pictures when I have collected it)

As this is my 1st ever machine I need a bit of help the machine will need some restoration which is why I brought it. It will only have a handful of balls so I need some more but eBay uk doesnt have any forsale and importing from the US will take ages and cost loads.
I have found a compay that sells 11mm chrome plated steel balls weighing 4.43g each @ £15 for 200!! I know it's not recommended but us it ok to use these to test/use in the machine?? or does anyone in the UK have any they want to sell??
    What do ppl think?

    UK Source for Pachinko Balls

That is a thread making note of where I bought my 11mm bb's from. Maybe you're thinking of the same people, not sure.

    These are what I use...

11.1mm (7/16") CHROME STEEL BALL BEARINGS, QUANTITY 50 on eBay (end time 16-Mar-11 19:53:29 GMT)

They are cheaper than the gms balls, marginally

That is a beautiful machine. I love the fact that they covered up most the words with the pockets, you'd think they would hve designed it a bit better! Hah!

It looks super clean! Let's see the back components!

Cool. Glad you got one. Is it the one from Sutton. I didn't think that had that many pockets.
I should be picking up my first vintage tomorrow.

    Congratulations!!

I really like the colours and style of that cell, and I do remember once posting about a similar one I found on ebay, it had the same colours and wording of 'best pachinko' on the cell, but i think it was in the US,

Yeh it is the 1 from Sutton!! It has 6 tulip pockets the middle pocket and another pocket thing that has 2 holes that open up the tulip pockets and a hole that goes into the main pocket. Ime not sure how it all works yet as I only have about 25 balls ime waiting to get more thru the post!! It does seem like a fantastic machine I have just been polishing up the pins an there coming up a treat

right here are some more pictures of the back (ball hopper is broken abit and there was no electrical hook up point but apart from that it seems to be all there) i have cleaned up some of the pins which look great

I ordered balls from 4 steel balls - Independent Supplier of all types Steel Balls @£17.90 inc p&p and VAT for 200 balls but they get even cheaper the more you buy i put the order in at 3pm yesterday and received them this morning what a great service!! they needed a bit of a polish but work perfect so i will be ordering more from them!!

so I got the lights working, put the balls in and it is working ok the payout mechanism is a little stiff so just needs adjusting but it works about 75% of the time.

Can anyone help me date the machine??? i have included a picture of the sticker on the bottom right of the playing field but i cannot see any numebers on it that would relate to the date pls help??

    That's fast with the balls
Remember when freeing up stiff parts. Take lots of pictures and try never to use oil.
