    Default My Pachinko Mini-Collection!

Hi everyone! My name is Kris and this is my very first post. A couple of people introduced me to the site, so I'd thought I'd join in!

I only have 4 machines so far, but that's okay. I'm just happy I'm able to find whatever I can find.

In order of pickup, here's what I have:

    1. Heiwa Lassen World
    2. Sammy Lion King
    3. Heiwa 'Owl'
    4. Sankyo ???

I'd like to know the official names and year of the machines I have (in case I'm wrong)? That's all I need to know since I'm neatly cataloging the stuff I have in my collection, most of which are video games haha. I just think the Pachinko machines uniquely compliment well with my collection since I don't have the space and investment for arcade machines.

    Thank you!!!

Although the Heiwa Owl doesn't seem to want to play the music every time I play it. I don't know what's the problem is since everything seems to be fine but oh well.

Thanks for the welcome! Glad to be part of the community.

    Thank you Moparformances and Yose!

It could be, I'll have to check. I know the machine makes a "hoot" sound and it opens the center pocket to activate the number reels. Nevertheless, it works fine.

    Thanks again!

I've had a quick search and I can't see your Heiwa or Sankyo models pictured in our Research Centre, so I can't help with their names right now, but hopefully other members can assist with that for you

Your number 4 machine is a "Wild Animal King"" made by Sammy in 2004, I have the same one with a slight different picture on the playfield.

Thanks once again for the welcome guys! I really appreciate it!!

And thanks to yahama and compirate for your help! Yeah the Sankyo is my most recent pickup and I had to get my hands dirty and fix it up a bit by cleaning the clog that goes through the Chance pocket, and cleaning the wirings in the back. I also had to chop up pieces of wood to add "feet" for the machine so it won't constantly tilt when playing. Other than that, the lights, the screen and the speakers work perfectly!

I have the King Hosuke myself and the music only plays part of the time here are videos of mine to compare, if yours seems to be missing large parts of the sound or it cuts in and out then look for a lose connection

Sorry for the sudden disappearance but again, thanks for the warm welcome!

So my collection will be increasing to six machines. I'd love to pick up more but I'm running out of space, so six machines are perfect for now. I'll take a picture of them when I have them all neatly arranged.

I've run into a little problem (hopefully it's minor). My Sankyo machine, where the speakers are, keep flashing red on me. I hit fever twice, and awarded all the balls in those rounds. During fever, the red lights would flash of course, but now that I'm not in fever, the red lights keep flashing. Anything wrong? There is a lot of balls on the reward hopper (top feed tray) but the lights still flash. All the pockets work on the play field and there's no ball jam whatsoever. The ball shooter works and the slots work so it's all perfect. It's just those red lights which I've never seen happen before.

(If there was an answer to this problem already, please excuse me. Direct me to that thread.)

This is the machine I have: sankyo23.jpg

I don't have one in that frame so I am not 100% sure but I think your last fever was an odd number and you are in "high probability" mode (meaning that you have better odds of getting another fever).

I know that the machines I have with lights around the speakers like that do that eg, sanyo lumina

That was it? That didn't sound so bad.

Wow I didn't know about that odd number thing. Interesting. My first fever, I finished at Round 11. My second fever I finished at Round 2 (or 3, I think). But it must likely be that high probability mode. I actually don't have that ball jumper device, so I have to dig the balls from the back and place them in either of the trays. My arms are getting a serious workout! Haha!

That may be it. It's still flashing but I guess I'll just keep playing! Thanks Owen!

Yes, Owen is right. The odd/red numbers/characters are good - a 'big' bonus so to speak. Your odds of another bonus go from 1:315.5 to 1:63. The frame is telling you it's in High Probability Mode.
If you get another odd/red bonus, it stays the same. If you get a even/blue bonus, the odds go back to the higher amount.

Bonus rounds are 15 rounds of 10 balls each in the bonus door. I'm pretty sure there is a special spot inside that door that a ball has to go for a bonus round to continue. It's a holdover from the older days.
