Time to have to sit through a spooner rant and let me address these topics one at a time:

The expression I always heard is that "you attract more flies with honey than vinegar". This always confused me because I never could understand why anyone would want to attract flies. I thought about this I realized that you actual attract more flies with manure than you do with honey or vinegar. What does that men? I don't really know.

As far as slotUSA is concerned, I also ordered an assortment of trays over a week ago ... six trays to be exact, along with 2,000 pachinko balls. It was also my impression that hey would be an assortment of Red, Blue, Orange, Yellow, or white, based on the photo on the site. When I received mine today, I also received the crappy filthy gray/black trays. Now, I don't care if they are all the same color, but I would have appreciated one of the listed colors.

Not to ***** too much, but I have also found that slotUSA is one of the slowest shippers that I have encountered.

Now it was my fault that I did not specify that I was unwilling to accept filthy gray/black trays (even though I did not know that was an option). But at the same time I also did not insist that I did not receive pink and white polka dot trays. Or plaid trays. Or trays full of dog poop. I also made the huge mistake of not letting them know I am an active member of Pachitalk.

I just think the advertising is quite deceptive. Why do I personally want different colored trays (i.e. an assortment)? Because I would like to have people over for a casino night where they have different colored trays, so that they may set them down to go to the bathroom or the bar without having to remember which of the same colored trays was there's. I know, kind of picky.

In closing, I think slotUSA should specify that the trays may all be the same color. In addition, they should list all of the possible colors. In addition, they should at least make an attempt to make the trays the send look at least as clean and enticing as they do on their site (and in at least one of the colors they list.

I know I can probably complain and insist on specific compensation, but should I really have to do this as a consumer? I think I will try writing them a professional letter explaining my disappointment, my affiliation with this group, the amount of business I have done with them in the past, and an indication that I do not really feel inclined to work with them any longer when there are other fish in the sea. Then leave it to them to rectify, or not. Let's see how good their problem resolutions is.

Kamehany, please let me know how your situation gets worked out (or not).

Once again, just my worth. I try to be as tolerant as possible under normal circumstances but sometimes I just can't take it anymore!

What is the option? Who else offers imported trays?
I'd pay a fair price for matching bright shiny trays :-o

I'm not sure where you can reliably get those beautiful orange day-glo trays, but I know where you can get six gray/ black filthy trays pretty cheap!

I guess I'm the weird one of the group? One of our members early on was selling these trays to us and one heck of a deal. I jumped on this bandwagon first and got right of first refusal for colors. I choose all matching grey/black trays!

Of course unlike the ones you've received, mine were very clean.

    Let me recap:

Authentic international casino token tray. These custom trays were used in a real casinos. Made from heavy, thick, clear, ABS plastic. Features two carrying handles and the trays are stackable. This is a genuine Japanese collectible. They also are perfect for storing your extra Pachislo slot machine tokens or Pachinko balls.
Each tray will hold approximately 2000 slot machine tokens or 3000 pachinko balls.
Picture is for illustration purposes only, price is for twenty-four (24) trays.
Actual color, design, and or logo may vary.
    Price: $79.99
Normally Ships Within 3-5 Business Days.
Authentic Casino Token Tray satisfaction guaranteed!
If for any reason your Authentic Casino Token Tray is not the best Authentic Casino Token Tray you have ever used you may return it within 30 days for an exchange, credit or refund, please refer to our refund policy. We want you to be happy with your Authentic Casino Token Tray and because you are buying from SlotUSA, you will be getting best price around.

Well, it does say “ Picture is for illustration purposes only, price is for twenty-four (24) trays. Actual color, design, and or logo may vary.”

But you got them on clean, it doesnÂ’t say anything about being dirty/clean.
You have an action “you may return it within 30 days for an exchange, credit or refund”

your cost was $3.33 a tray and that includes shipping. If they spent 20 mins each to clean them What kind of cost would they be ? (I know they should have said “these are not clean” in their ad)

So you have two options: one take them to a car wash and wash them, or contact them for a return.

    ON
We want low prices, cheaper shipping, used product in new condition, plain advertising.

I donÂ’t think we can have all the above.
Pachislos are in the cat bird seat, you have many vendors offering their wares, so their prices stay lower. Where Pachinko, there are few vendors and there prices are higher. If they donÂ’t make money, they close up (Remember Barry at "Republic Industries").
Someone had said he should have charged more for his ball, would you have bought them ?

If you want used product in new condition, you are going to pay more, in some cases alot more.

Shipping cost are set by UPS FEDex, not the vendor period.

They should be clearer on there advertising, no excuse from me here.

You donÂ’t realize the time that each machine takes to bring them up to the condition you want.

I know much better know. For I just finished 5 Pachinkos and there is no way I will recoup the cost in time & nickel and dime items in selling them.
I can sell you one of three Fever The King in Mint Condition, no scratches, bright clean, set up for with 6 amp and grounded cord, all motors cleaned & lubed, are chrome polished, volume control added, free standing Good legs. Plays like factory new.
Would you pay $700.00 dollars for it ? all the work I did, would justify this price. No you will buy from TA for $200 and bwitch on the condition you get it in. I will be lucky to get that price, and I am not bwitching it is part of the game.

I realize my name in saying is crapola on this board now.
I am not chewing your hiney, I want you to see the whole picture. And for your own piece of mind, realize the trade offs you make for cost of the items bought.

This is not just to Kamehany, it is to all of us, myself included.

    OFF

I bought 80 trays from 7Mile here on the board, around a buck apiece, but as he said they were in need of cleaning - they aren't brand new. But that fine, the price was right!.

We old guys have earned the right to be cranky at times and say what we think.

I have been told on rare occasions that my ramblings even make sense. That just encourages me. Other times, they just view me as a parnoid pain in the rear.

Either way, experience counts in the game of life.

I actually only purchased five trays so I paid a little more each for them. I know what you mean about cleaning them ourselves. And the fact is that no matter how much they were cleaned, I would have still cleaned them more.

I guess my complaint is that I was expecting assorted tray colors. not the same color. I could always return them but, like everything else, once I have the toy in hand, I will do everything in my power to not let go of it again.

Thanks for the perspective arby. I am officially done with this topic now and will begin to obsess on something else now.

    Thanks again. ~spooner

i know we are getting these item for pennies on the dollar compared to new cost.

and the machines are shipped 1,000 to 3,000 miles on various trucks.

i let a lot of small things slip, but if i have a major problem i complain.

all the big name dealers have been very fair to me on correcting these, wether it is replacement parts, a different machine or free tokens to make up for it.

i wouldn't want to have to deal with all their headaches of selling these.

i have 20 pachislos and 2 pachinkos and my total investment is just over 3,000.00 for machines that cost over 50,000.00 new.

LIFE IS GOOD

I did not say what I said to hurt anyone feeling, That is not my intent. It was that we need to understand the whole picture. But said, Slot USA still should have said Condition of cleanliness will vary!

And if there was some black trays in the picture it would help too!

    I just see both sides
