Default Planning to build a wall mount/Any plans floating around?

I'm planning to build a wall mounted "case" for my machine, and since I don't have the key (of course), I'm envisioning a door in the top to refill the balls, and perhaps a door in the lower side to remove them. Is anyone aware of any plans around the 'net that I can base my design off of? Also, what sort of wood would you suggest? I'm thinking hardwood, but would I really need it? Would a case made of 1 by pine hold up?

i would think 1 by pine would hold up very well.and you could stain or paint it to your preference.my cabinets are 3/4 particleboard, they hold up too.

i made all of mine out of Pine.. no problems at all..

the problem with plans is ever machine is a bit different in size...

find a design ya like and build it to fit your machine..

Wow, that looks really great. The ball drawer is a awesome idea, never would have thought of that, think I'll have to incorporate something similar. I don't have anywhere near 8000 balls though (yet!). I'm curious though, when joining all the main pieces together, did you only use glue and pegs?

    lost my edit button...

you can see the cleat strips.. there are 2 under the hopper ramps

lots of glue and pin nails to hold them in place till the glue dried..

I made a few stand alone cabinets as well as a three machien wall unit. Check out the Cabinet forum and or search my threads.

You'll need to be able to open your machine in case of ball jams.. so you might as well figure out how to access. Also, if you build an 'over head' ball hopper you'll need to be able to 'block the flow' of balls in case you need to open the machine while the upper hopper is full. You can always use a pin to dump them all before you open it but... geeze.. that would suck.

Anyway... just my random thoughts... I guess it's late for an old man to be up.
