hello all, I currently do not have a pachi of either kind. But i am currently in the market for a pachinko. a friend of mine was given a extremely abused sankyo back in 1985. he didnt even know what it was until a few weeks ago when i did some searching and told him the name and what the machine was used for. well after doing research for him and tinkering with the machine i have decided that it would be fun to find one of my own. so here I am. wish me luck. LOL

thanks dattia and jacksje4 for the welcomes. i havent really decided on what type of game i am looking for. i am pretty certain that i am wanting a vintage model, due to it being uncomplex but amazing in the way that they work. and as far a brand of machines, i havent done enough research yet on what seems to be the best ones out there.

thanks all for the hospitality. i posted a craigslist add looking for a pachinko about 2 hours ago. so far i have had 2 guys with 2 machines each contact me. i am interested in a nishijin that one of the guys has . it is completley refurbished. and he is asking $100 for it. right now i am trying to find out if it includes any balls.

If it is truly refurbished and he is only asking $100, then I would say that is a deal - even without balls!! Balls are easy to find on ebay. Just make sure the lights work and all the parts are there. If you post close-up photos of the fromt and back in this thread, we would be happy to help you inspect the machine.
