    Default Poster sized copies

Does Kinkos or any other place make copies about 3.5 feet long and maybe 2 feet wide or so or is there a place to get these done because im ordering a Star Wars Pachinko poster from japan and want to get a couple of copies made.

The only places I've seen that do that large of work use commercial wide body inkjets. It ends up being pretty expensive. You'd probably be better off just ordering extra posters from Japan, especially if you order mulitples at the same time and only have to pay one shipping fee.

15 dollars plus shipping and a small handling fee from the shipper, now that i look at it, it almost looks to be more of a vinyl vertical banner.

I know one kinkos near me does it. They have a couple printers that are about 3' across, in fact. Maybe even larger. They use them for banners, posters etc. I seem to recall though that it is very expensive, especially for color. I think a photo that I wanted done would have been over $100 for one copy. Black and White was cheaper and affordable in a budget that I would have had. But, for black and white, ????? EXPENSIVE none the less.

Would probably far exceed the original cost of the posters and, probably, wouldn't be as good quality either. Then you have the issue of Copyright. Kinkos will not copy something that could be perceived as copyrighted material. Unless you have some sort of documentation of rights or permission. I took a picture of an airplane, G4 jet, a year before it crashed. The picture was published on the front page of a local paper. I wanted a copy to reduce, laminate and put into my portfolio. They wouldn't copy it for me based on the copyright issues. I had to scan it at home in several parts and paste them together. Then reduce. I don't think the machines, in question, would fall into the self serve category.

See if you can get a pic from your middleman. This is going to be one hot item when it hits here.
