Default Bought my first pachinko machine, and know very little about it

bought at an estate sale, looks older, mostly works, does have key, but does pachinko 003.jpgneed a little tlc. Looks to me like all the parts are there, maybe just a couple of blown bulbs. Says nishijin shiroi kamome super dx. It has a hand holding up two fingers in the middle of it. Anyone know about this, I would appreciate the help. Thanks Tim

Thanks. Yea its a clean machine seems to be in mostly working order, but i can tell by looking at the back that some of the wires need to be replaced. One of the lights work at the top , the other one doesnt. Mechanically seems to work fine though

Welcome to PachiTalk!! You have come to the right place to get information and assistance with your vintage machine.

It looks like you got a really clean machine - the pins look shiney and the cell is in pretty good condition. If it's not too much trouble, please post some close-up pics of the back. We can help you with the wiring and let you know if any critical pieces are missing. As for play, you will need at least 400-500 pachinko balls for that model of machine to operate properly (personally, I like to have at least 1,000). The best place to get more (if needed) is on ebay.

    Again, welcome to the forum!!

The fact that you have at least one light working puts you ahead of most of the ones out there. Good looking machine, word of warning, it's hard to stop with just one.

looks like some one has been playing with the wires...

as for helping ya its a bit of a mess..

think if the lights as a loop... from the battery to the switch from the switch to the bulb then back to the battery.. each one is seperate.. the low ball and the jackpot have there own switch and there own light...

    hope that makes sense

    Welcome Welcome

If you follow what mopar said, each light is like a loop. To track down the problem, follow 1 wire from the terminals in the upper right to the leaf or microswitch, from there it should go to the bulb, and them back to the terminals. It looks like either foil or solder was used to secure the fuse that is directly below the two terminals. It may work fine for testing where the problems are, but I would not keep it permanently like that. A 9 volt battery works for the electrical, so you should be able to test all of the switched with that. Keep us posted on how its coming and posting pics always helps out.

Take a look at this pic, it's the back of my Nishijin that is very similar to yours, One difference may be that I have two lights in series for jackpots, but other than that, it should be the same. If you need some close ups in particular places, I can help you out.

Edit: Just went back and looked at the pic, not the clearest... Offer still stands on taking more pics.
