This is a patented, mechanical devise
I wonder if that's really true.

Did anyone notice, we removed the Craigslist ad? We removed the silk drive and sold it separately.

Too bad, you didn't let us know it was for sale without the pachi.

    Hopefully someone here bought it

Another thing... someone commented on the patent... the fellow we bought our pachinko machine from had about 15 of them... all with the silk drive installed. He told us that he was the inventor and had a patent on it... He lived here in the Okanagan. At least that's the story he told us.

Our silk drive is a little different than the one I saw on YouTube. Ours had 2 tracks, each with their own tube lifting the balls up. It seemed to have much more oomph than necessary - as the pachinko machine took longer to use up the balls than it took to fill the tray. I figure if someone wanted, they could connect their machines somehow so that 1 tube went to 1 machine and the other went to a second machine. I wouldn't be surprised if someone really good with their hands, could connect the tubes to a set of "Y's" of sorts to send balls off to a couple more machines.

Yes, it was someone from the board - He actually offered to buy the whole thing compete - but we realized that the cost to ship was very high - and personally I wasn't that exited about crating it for shipping anyway. So I agreed to have it removed for him. I may try to sell the Pachinko locally later (maybe at a garage sale or something).

I will let the buyer identify himself - if he so chooses.

    Hello all,

Sorry it took awhile to respond to this thread, been sick and extremely busy lately. I was the one who ended up with this incredible ball lifter... all thanks to Barb I might add! I wanted the complete package with pachinko machine, custom cabinet and the silk drive but I think the price quote was over a grand to package it and ship to my location. So I talked Barb into removing the silk drive and shipping by itself. This lifter is so swueet... It moves twice as many balls and then some as the orange Japanese ball lifters. Also, it is sooooo quiet... if it weren't for the sound of the balls dropping into the upper ball tray it would be silent! Currently I have it hooked up on one of my test machines (Yellow Cab) just to see how it went together and to watch it in action. I must say that it's mesmerizing two watch this thing in action as it moves the balls through two separate lifter tubes. As soon as I get a chance I will post pictures and video. Thanks again Barb!

I ran a quick test tonight of the two different ball lifters and the following were my findings:

Single lift orange Japanese ball lifter pushed out 567 pachinko balls per minute
(brand new, not one of the used ones)

Dual lift silk drive pushed out 1232 pachinko balls per minute

I shot several videos tonight of the silk drive in action. I will try and get them posted this week.

I'm curious as how one finds this kind of lifter, what the price was (not including shipping), and have you hooked it up to multiple machines for continuous play? Thank you.
