    Default My old machine/model A ?

    Hi everyone.
I've been browsing the forum a bit and find it very informative.
I have an old machine of the Model A type I believe. Will post a couple pics if I can, because I'd like to find out more about it.
Is it worth cleaning up and fixing (lights I think)?
Also how to clean up the corroded balls? Or should I just buy new ones?
    Thanks
    JC

Welcome. Me personally I would not run old rusty balls in my machines. Especially after cleaning. That's a nice 60s single ball. It is worth fixing. Good luck

Welcome to PachiTalk!! We are happy to have you here.

That is an early 1960's Single Ball machine with Model A mechanics on the back. I am restoring one very similar to it right now, so I would say YES!! - it's worth cleaning up.

As mentioned above, toss the rusted and pitted balls. New balls are not too expensive on ebay, and if you are patient and search for a while, you can get some for .04 to .06 cents per ball after shipping.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

Worth fixing for sure! If the balls are pitted at all toss them, it is not worth risking a beauty like that with old balls. As others have said you can find new ones cheap on Ebay.

    Welcome to PachiTalk ! ! !

Harbor Freight has a selection of Tumblers. I have the 2 drum version. That and crushed Walnut shells do the job just fine.

I have one model A and am on the lookout for more! They're great machines. Recommend new balls, more than one of my machines have playfields that have been scarred by bad balls.

Great Looking machine. I would get new balls though they are easy enough to find(ebay).

Thanks again for all the replies.
There is a Cabela's here and a Harbor Freight not far from where I live, I may look into trying to clean the balls to see what condition they are in.
Will probably just get new ones anyway.

Okay so I'm trying to figure out the date, using the 'Expiration Sticker' guidelines. but I can't see a number on it. It doesn't have one?
