would like to start collecting different tokens ...

When I first became interested in this hobby, I did not give much thought to the various tokens that came with the machines. After that I was only interested in the tokens working in the various machines.

While I am still interested in the tokens working, I now also think it might be fun to collect as many different token designs as possible.

Here is the question. Would any of you be willing to trade or sell me one or two tokens that I do not have in my (currently small) collection? If so, please let me know what it would take to make this worth your while.

To facilitate this, I will, of course, post images of the tokens I currently have in my possession.

Just for starters, this is an image of six "silver" tokens that I just received tonight (they have not been polished yet).

thats actually what i do i dont use used tokens for my machines but when i come across different used tokens i hang on to 1or2 of each

I set the "different" ones aside, usually in the ash tray. I only have six distinct patterns.

Last month I got in a few machines with used tokens and while playing them I noticed there were a lot of different tokens. I started looking at them closer as I was playing and put aside one of everything that was different. Then I went back thru my other machines checking those tokens too. So far I have around 80 different ones. No telling how many different tokens a person could collect.... I don't have several of the ones posted in the pictures here!!

i looked thru my tokens for awhile, but quit at 100 different,

with the different lots from many dealers i coulf possably have at least 200 different.

one day i'll sort them all :lol:
