Default Pachinko vs Pachislo for a Noob

I have posted on the pachislo portion of the site. I have basically decided to get a pachislo machine or 2 from blue hotaru

However there are some very interesting pachinko's that are available in the themes that i want that i cant seem to find in pachislo (ie star wars, indy park, jurassic park)

I would like an easy experience as possible and dont have the knowledge really to try to mod for ball lifter or put the machine in custom cyclic cabinet.

Perhaps this is my ignorance, but how often would you need to phsically lift the balls from the kpper and put them back into the machine is you didnt have a ball lifter or a cyclic mod?

That is my biggest concern, as i think this may remove some of the enjoyment from using the machine.

    Thanks in advance

it depends on how many balls you have... building/buying a cabinet to hold more balls will extend play

if you just fill the hopper with 1000 balls and play my guess would be 20 min or so.. untill you hit a fever then your moving balls as fast as you can...

With that in mind, it the upper hopper runs out of balls during a fever, the machine will keep count of unpaid jackpots so when the hopper is filled up again, the unpaid jackpots will be paid. Sometimes folks buy modern pachinkos, fill them with balls and then turn them on, then think they are broken because the machine keeps paying jackpots without any machine play. The machine is just catching up on the unpaid jackpots from the last player.

I have my modern machine filled with about 2000 balls, but when a fever hits its hard to keep the top hopper filled.

pachinko vs pachislot is a personal question.

I like pachinko's myself, as I'm not much of a slot machine person.

but, they have pachislots with nice LCDs and interactive, so those are fun, too.

try youtube videos to see the machines that you are interested in play. this is the best way to "try before you buy"

moving pachinko balls is not that hard. just get a case with a hopper on the bottom and a funnel on top, and you're good to go.

about $100 for a nice one on ebay, and well worth it. I gave up on ball lifters and giant hoppers after I got a nice case.

    have fun with the addiction.
