well, just got off the phone with them and I was really impressed, the lady I talked to was Tina, very nice girl.....took the time to really talk to me, I didn't feel rushed or anything, made sure that all my questions were answered....Got their web site address, they seem to have pretty good prices, they have a life time warranty on support and parts, They give more tokens and shipping is included with the price. I think that this vendor might be good to deal with. Oh and as for the tokens....she said that the ones that were on the auction are a little bit skinnier than normal ones...If anyone could tell me what brand my sinbad adventures are Id like to know, cuz I'm not sure if these tokens will work or not....well see I guess. well, hope you don't mind, I probably should have asked before I did, but I let them know of this site so they could see what everyone was looking for and how our expectations were.....
OK, found out about the machines....they only deal with pachislo, they clean, paint, replace bulbs and parts then test them before sold, they package them with what she said was an instapack machine...dont know much about those but she said that they wrap them up then pack them with expanding foam....then send them either ups or dhl...and they do not ship to california...she also went through and explained that for me...I guess cali law changed so that any company that sells to cali has to pay an anal fee then quarterly they have to submit a list all people with address of who they shipped to.....so that is why it is such a big pain with cali....just in case anyone else asks....but hey, someone should give these guys a try and let us know how they work out....Just from the 3 phone calls that I had with them they seem like very pleasant ppl to work with.....
Oh yeah, I explained to her that I was new to this pachislo, pachinko thing and she offered that when i get the tokens that if they dont work out for me to give them a call and theyll help me out with getting ones that I need....

Received my tokens today delivered by DHL. Shipped in to Ziploc type bags in DHL box. One of the bags split open and some of the tokens where rattling around in the box. I wonder what the DHL guy thought he was delivering? I am surprised the box was opened with the sound of "money" it was making. The tokens work in all but my E cup machine. I say 3 out of 4 ain't bad! May have to buy another 1000 at that price.
    and a few others.

The problem is, as the addiction becomes worse you will own more and more machines. When you get to the point where you own dozens, it will become a real pain that some tokens only work in some machines.

It's not a problem if you always just leave tokens in the payout trays so they keep getting circulated back into the same machines. But if you're like me and have parties where everyone gets their own supply of tokens, it can become an issue. Just my 2 tokens...

Very good point. I even take it one step further though, I like all my tokens to be the same exact...makes it easier to give out at parties...just weigh them. :-)

I've got two types of tokens. The bi-metals (brass and sliver) which weigh 5.4 grams each and the plain silver which weigh 5.2 grams. The silver are in all the machines but the Harley and the Harley is seperate from the rest of the machines. That way, it's easy enough to keep them apart. As Utopia just said, it's important to keep 'em separated because we also weigh the tokens to count them. I think gwarzin weighs his tokens, too!

Yes. I weigh my tokens. That's why I stay away from the really light ones, like the brand new copper colored ones from pachislot777. I always ask them to send used silver with any machines I buy from them.

Even the silver ones come in at slightly different weights. But if I toss them all in a container and mix them up, it pretty much averages out over a hundred tokens. So my count might not be good enough for a commercial pachislo parlor, but when you've got a party with about 20 people, it's close enough and sure beats counting them by hand. I just don't tell my guests that the count may be off by a few one way or the other. What they don't know won't hurt me. :-)

So far it's never been close enough that anyone demanded a recount. Usually the winners are hundreds ahead. It's not like a presidential election.

But if all you use are the copper ones than they all weigh the same! :-)

    Plus they all match! :-)

Me, too, on not using those light tokens. And, I agree about averaging out on the weight. My error rate runs about 2% max. 8-)

The difference in weight is negligeble one on one. But if they are the exact same, when weighing a lot of tokens than there in no error rate. :-)

Problem is I buy machines from a lot of different sources. Most come with used silver tokens. Those few vendors that like to supply new tokens will almost always supply used silver upon request. The reverse is not true. So it's just easier to standardize on the silver.

Yes, I could buy all one kind and then they would weight exactly the same. But, with 36 machines that came with an average of about 350 tokens each, that's 12,600 tokens I'd have to buy if I wanted them all to match. Actually more than that because I've probably purchased about 8,000 extra tokens. So that brings to total to over 20,000.

And the last part is just aesthetic. I can understand how some people would like the look of all matching tokens, especially if they were new. Myself, I actually like having very Japanese looking tokens from lots of different parlors. It makes the whole experience some how more exotic.

Sheesh, I only have 5 slots and have 10,000 tokens. That makes them work well without a lot of messing around. 500 in a bucket outside for each and 1500 in the hopper for each.

So, extrapolating that out to your case Mr. gwarzin, you should have 72,000 Tokens! :smt082 (Yeah, I know, you never use all 36 at once, so you can move 'em around, but have to give you a bad time.  )

And, I just did some math on this, and 72000 tokens at 5.2 grams each is 825 pounds, just in tokens! So you pachi addicts, save your money and make sure your floor can handle the weight.

Now that is staggering.

If you don't like your copper colored tokens you can send them to me! I can't afford slotusa's gold ones or milts so they are the next best thing to me. Have any one seen the tokens you get from pachislo.com with the specials? They are a dingy dark silver almost greenish. They look like c--p. They don't look any better when there cleaned.

    Smile

i jumped the gun on these tokens,

the first ones i put in my magic monkey gave a coin jam error,

it took me a few mins to get it to work right with my regular tokens.

they look the same , but they aren't, they work fine in my rodeo gin gin maru machine. so his ad is correct.

i guess i'll have to use them all there.
